A club challenge idea

A club challenge idea
Just throwing out an idea that our club's been throwing around for a while. We are building a short - yet challenging course on my private property. The course is currently about 1/2 mile long and a figure 8 loop makes it about a 1 mile trip. In the winter months, this this is TOUGH and by next year, no vehicle will make it through unaided. However, we've been building the course to reduce the risk of body or mechanical damage. Mostly - there's no spot that a sane driver should roll, while corners are tight here and there, they are easily doable by the 4Runner/Tacoma size rigs.
In the 1/2 loop that I did today showing the property to a friend, I had to winch 3 times! The mud is sloppy!!!!!
Our idea was this. The competition would be teams of two truck running the figure 8 course. Each club would have an equal number of teams. The total time for each team would be compared and someone would be a winner. They'd get a case of Coke or some similarly valuable prize. The idea is simply to get to meet with the other clubs, test our rigs and have a fun day.
Yeah, the home team has a slight home course advantage, but in the winter the course changes each time a vehicle passes through or get's stuck. I pity the team that has to go last!
Anyway, I was interested in the input from you guys/gals about the idea or suggestions, and to see if any of you in clubs would be interested in doing this next winter?

This is from our last group trip out there.

I took this same loop yesterday. This is where I had to winch 3 times. I didn't have time to try the south loop. We've not been through the south loop since November. At that time, it was the most challenging section. Several of our guys are down for the count right now - Matt needs to get his motor and axle swaps completed, Markus is also doing a motor and axle swap, I'm pulling the t-case out today for repairs and I have some suspension modifications to finish up... you know how the list of repairs goes on and on and on. I'm hoping that we can all get out there again before it dries up and try the south loop.
