Butcher clean up 9/18 (Mesa, Az.)
Trip Leader: Steve Yee Trip Date: September 18, 2004
Starting Time: 9am
Meeting Point: Butcher Jones Recreation Area/Coves
Est. Length: 5 hours CB Channel: 4
General Clean Up of the Butcher Jones/Rolls OHV area.
This event is being held as part of the National Public Lands Day nationwide clean up event on September 18.
Tonto National Forest will provide a dumpster. Bags might be provided by TNF if they are able to use Public Lands Day funds. Be prepared to bring your own.
TNF's Forest Supervisor (Karl Siderits) has asked to have no more than 75 trucks particpate in this event to ensure adequate parking.
Staging will be held in the parking lot of Butcher Jones. Afterwards, a get together will be held in the parking lot to admire a job well done.
