Sounds like a lot of fun. What type of terrain will the Poker Run consist of? Never been to Stoddard Valley so any other trail info would be great.

 

it's mostly flat with a few hills. Whoops are abundant, long flat straights as well as hills to make you work.

Where in Long Beach are you Toyopnoy? I'm in Long Beach as well going to school in Costa Mesa. I'm at Woddruff and Wardlow. Hope you can make it to the run man.

 

I'm actually in Paramount but no one usually knows where that is haha, off Lakewood and Somerset. I am planning on going, what are your plans as far as leaving from Long Beach for Barstow. Also are there any plans for doing any other wheeling in that area. Have you ever been on these trails in these pics http://www.adventure4x4.net/waiting/...light=stoddard

 

My plans are to head out for Barstow at about 1 in the afterrnoon and make a stop in Cajon Pass, possibly go up and over Cleghorn mountain, we'll see. I'll be meeting up with my buddies in Barstow at about 7 or so. We'll be camping with a group near the event and you're welcome to join. Do you want to caravan out there together? That'd make the trip that much more enjoyable.

 

I actually wouldn't be able to head up until around 8pm Friday night. I have work Friday. Do you know if there is cellphone reception out there? I don't have a CB yet.
