Nice pics, and a lot of them!!!
I too must admit, I think your site is awesome.
Finally someone else who likes backcountry travel based out of their vehicle. I would love to join you guys sometime if you come out to the San Diego area.

Thanks guys!
Bluepaddler, I will send you a PM
crawler - I am still waiting on the locker to get here. Between Rob and myself, we both have been way too busy to deal with it. And now I am gonna be tied up for another week - so I am thinking maybe we can shoot for the 31st? It should be here by then, and I should have everything ready to go.
The new shoes? Well, they kicked a$$ on the trail - and they do just great on the highway. The two things I have noticed that I'm not so crazy about is my mileage has gone down (haven't pinned it on the tires yet, but I have a hunch) and also it took me awhile to notice this.. but between 35-40 mph, I notice the "out-of-round" syndrome that Gadget complained about. It feels like I am riding on "wavy" pavement, and that is why I didn't notice at first - I thought it was just a section of the road that had a wavy surface. Doesn't bother me too much - but seems kinda lame for a set of tires that cost so much. Like I said, only is noticeable between (approx) 35-40 mph, otherwise they ride great. Quiet too.

The 31st is the annual Table Mesa Area Clean Up and trail run- so I'll be haulin' my trash down for the day
I've got a similar "wobble" w/ mine, but using 1-7/8 of wheel spacers per side has exacerbated it. The thing is dang near skeeeery some times. It shakes the front end violently from 40 to 45 MPH. Having no wheel weights left prolly doesn’t help either.
Try for a later day?
