Great jobs and security is hard to find ! You and Brandi would fit GREAT in Tennessee though !
I'd love new neighbors like you guys maybe then some of these Northern goobs would go home !

Awesome! I'm thinking we ought to run the West side of Royal Blue, because it's been raining here non stop, and Windrock just isn't all that fun when it's soaking wet. The West side of Royal Blue is more like the Moab, more rocky, but after our last run up there, all of us can make it no problem. It's just enough challenge, and there's more stuff to mess around on if Joe wants to play.

Chris

P.S. Joe, did you hear I might be getting an '85 waggy axle for a SAS, maybe?

Where is Royal Blue? How far from Townsend? I think we should play it by ear-if it's solid rock then it may be solid ice if it has the elevation Windrock has got.

I don't know about the elevation, but I think you're right. We'll just see what happens when the time comes along. It's about the same distance, but in a different direction from Knoxville. It will take roughly about the same time to get to either place.

hey dude,,,i'm afraid that my usual excuse of "the wife has to work" will be called into play again!! i thought she was off new year's eve,but it was christmas eve she'll be off,,,in other words i'll be baby sitting, not riding!!! but i guess it's for the best,my tires are getting thin and i will not be buying 32's this time around,,,,,so that means a body lift install along with new tires and rims!!! as far as the cv's,i'll take them if we can come to a delivery arrangement,,,,i have been saying that i needed to get a trail spare or two anyway so it looks like i have found them!!! how far are you from montgomery??? we might can work out a meeting there sometime after the first of the year!! ya'll have fun freezing to death,,,,er i mean wheeling!!! later

Well, my office is in Montgomery, so I'm there often. I'll ship them for the exact amount I paid if that works for you. I understand about the ride-but you gotta make the next one!

You going with 16's and 285's or 33x12.50x15's?

I might make this one, but i cant do anything like slick rock again, (ive still yet to replace the clutch, and gear it) but the dual transmission project is about to go into the works, someone has started it and put it in their truck and it looks promissing, just wating to see if it will hold up before i start on it.

Man, that would help you out tremendously. I hope you can make this trip, and there's not anything like slickrock where we're going on this trip, unless you want to.

that's cool,i'll try to hook up with you the next time we go to the inlaws,,they live in millbrook,,, proly first of next year,,,let me know if you need the money sooner and we'll work it out!!! as far as tire size,,,33/12.5/15's on 15x8 black rock crawlers,,,the aluminum wheels was a bad idea for off roading!!! i thought about getting the street locks, but the reinforcement they offer for the bead seat wouldn't justify the money,,,it's cheaper just to buy a new wheel, plus i'm getting 6 so i'll have 2 spares,,,even though i have never had a tire failure,,,ya'll have fun!!!! later

Ok, no rush on the money. I'll be out of town until Jan 4-although I will be going through Montgomery early on the 3rd and afternoon of the 4th on my way to and back from New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl!

i am really surprised this many people goto Windrock...i never noticed how many of you live in or near Tn...but wouldn't it be closer to alot of you to go to Tellico?

seeing how many of you are from Tn made me register to post now...i have just always read your articles for help from previous post...its cool to see some people in Tn driving yotas...where i'm from jeeps seem to clog the roads...

i also wanted to say that the people who post helpfully on here have really taught me quite a few things i didn't know..its good to have a place where you can look up almost anything about a toyota..

We've been to Tellico 3 times in the last 8 months, we're just going to Windrock for different trails and a change of scenery.

Chris, I'll give you a call when I get up there. Interested in me, you, and Andy getting together for a beer and food on Tuesday night? My folks may be with us b/c I invited them up for a few days in the mountains-on me.
