That sucks man. I figure on the bright side by the time everyone gets around to doin this again I should have my B.J. spacers installed and will be a tad bit more capable.

rob are all weekends bad?? I work a normal 9 hour a week only during the weekday job. Its really the only time I can go is saturday or sunday. I am taking this girl and her daughter who have never been wheeling and my two kids turns no one can watch them so its a soccer mom wheel trip for me!! its cool though really just trying to get together with others so that we can take real trail trip!! I got the maps for the Oregon Back Country Discovery Route and want to run that next june!! 750 miles from cali to washington with very little pavment. I gotta build the truck up a little and get prepared. I am hoping to find someone who wants to run at least half of it and I will have to get along well enough to camp by for a week or so

well that isnt going to happen until next june really maybe may but there is alot of high mountain travel and I want to try it near summer time. I heard its not to hard core of a trail and 80 percent can be ran in an f150 with a 3inch lift and 33s so i am sure that our yotas make an easy trip of it. I need to do alot of modding to get the truck in a situation where I can hold enough parts and camp gear. I am sure there is no way i talk a girl into this trip without installing a shower set up in the truck as well. Which by the way is ok with me I like when girls are fresh anyway haha!!

yeah solar showers kinda suck though. I guess propane is ok but i dont use propane for anything else in camping. I am master of camp fire cooking and i use led headlamps for light. I have been looking into the one that hooks up to the engine but am worried about gas consumption when on long trips that is an issue.

Yeah that could def. be a problem.
They have those super slim fuel cells.
or you can always stick a big ol tank under there.

i have been thinking about running the 29 gallon ford fuel cell in the spare tire area but I need to build a bumper with a tire swing on it first and I got a welder from harbor freight and I think if i can sell my weber carb I will get a bender next.
