You weren't planning to go back to Hillsboro, though, were you Erich? I'd see you being a little further west, Forest Grove, or Central Or.
It's Jon Brooks, by the way.

Jon!!! How've you been!? Back then I would have loved to move into a nice quite valley in the foothills coast range. Somewhere near Forest Grove or Banks.

I'm good, stayed away from home longer than planned just like you, though. Can't complain too loudly, got about 840 hours of overtime last season, and got 2 r&r days in Portland the season before that when we were on the fire on Mt Hood.
If you're down in Eastern Sierra area, Bishop, Mammoth and whatnot, you should get ahold of me.
I like to check out this thread before I go back home and see if I can tag along with anyone. Probably heading back up to Portland area in mid march, so if I get my sas done and a driveline built, hopefully the snow won't be too deep or rotten at Brown's Camp.

My buddy got his mechanical/manufacturing engineering degrees from OIT. Graduated in 2010(?) Anyway... I believe it's Diamond Lake out there we were trying to get to on our trip. Didn't make it, but had a lot of fun.

Diamond Lake is a fun spot. Really good fishing these days from what I hear.

Im in Vancouver. Id love to get something together up north here. Nothing that requires 45" and dual diff locks, but just go putt around and try not to break stuff. Hit me up.

Also, I dont know what the rule is on posting other sites, but there is a local oregon forum that I frequent... if its ok, ill edit this post.

I know Clines Butte is NW of bend a bit, but as far as further south... I couldnt tell ya.

I propose that yota tech get a regional wheelin / meet section going... it would be awesome to put together last minute trips in a sub forum rather than a thread.

I recently moved to Portland, curious if there's any good OHV parks nearby. Haven't had much time to explore it.

Head west on hwy 6. Browns camp is a good place to go. They have mild to difficult trails. Best to get a map or go with people that know the area.
