I don't think anyone (short of Rob or Shane out of "the usual suspects") would make the hill climb these days. The last I saw it it as in rough shape...

Hey Rob...

In that original thread (damn that was fun!) you mentioned that you had a new trail that you were gonna explore. Anything new on that??

He he he, I forgot about those pics. I'm all for not making it too late a night, so lets plan on meeting at 6:30? and taking off pretty quickly after that.

Yep. The summit is about 500 feet higher than the top of Tinkham and it has a better view. The trail is similar to Tinkham, except for two sections that I would put on par with the summit hill climb on Tinkham.

ooo! ooo! So.... do we wanna head up there instead, or do we stick with the "tradition of Tinkham" and then look to the new trail for later?

I'm guessing there are a couple others that could give it a good effort...

If we wanted to get all nostalgic I could come out in the red truck like I did last year on my very first run ever with you guys. I'm getting all misty just thinking about it.

Now you're gonna make me cry. If Shannon bring cookies again I'm in for this. If we can confirm Wednesday's I can schedule myself off in time. It's a haul for me from Everett that time of day so I need to leave a bit earlier.

I'm confirming May 11th, 6:30-6:45 as the meeting time.

I'd like to stick to Tinkham for this first ride out, I really want to see how nasty that climb is, but will bow to the masses if necessary....

Bummer! Nah, probably not. I'm hoping to be in Arizona for a conference that weekend.

Okay, can we get a final roll call on this trip? At the moment, I'm only aware of myself and Mike that are going to be able to make, and it might make more sense to just cancel it due to such small turnout.
