The gas is no biggie I meant the skids and SS 1/4" Wall DOM tube links with Rubicon Express Superflex Joints (1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner) goodies I want to install btwn now and then. Thats what ends up costing. I will more than likely rope my brother into going but hell want to bring his taco, then no one saves on gas.

Just talk to Rob (nc994run) except he did break some crap but was going up Slickrock in the process.
you rear locked or both?

no lockers at all even better right? JK I know I know but to lock it up I want ARB in the rear and detroit or aussie up front and whe I do that I want to re-gear to 4.56's , so there are many reasons im not locked mainly cause its over $2k.

Lockers are over-rated...
You can still have a blast at tellico with open diffs, I did it multiple times. It will force you as a driver to figure out ways to get around needing one, but that makes things more of a challenge. I agree with you when it comes to diffs, you might as well go all out. After seeing "auto" locking diffs put to the test out west, I personally would not bother if you are wanting to do rocks. Sand/Mud, they are great but the time that it takes to "automatically" lock puts a ton of stress on it and the drive-line when bouncing off rocks. Then if you ever drive the vehicle on pavement it will hop, can eat tires etc etc.. If this truck is your DD I'd get some cheap sliders made up and give it a descent skid if you have the extra coin. Having those will give you some piece of mind, especially if you aren't lifted yet.

Most of the chatter is on the event forum.
www.se4rj.com
Folks need to start registering or getting more sponsors will be difficult as well as mag coverage.
We only have like 10 folks registered and 5 methope are the FJ Team.

Yeah shes lifted 3" front and the 3.5" in the rear though the rear says its time for new springs. I have sliders and will purchase the beefy rear links from sonoran , and budbuilt ifs and belly prior to the trip. I just cant swing the cost of the lockers, I always get stuck on how often I would utilize them. So it breaks down to a cost/ use ratio and use doesn't warrant the cost.

You will have a blast, learn how to drive it how it is and get the lockers when you as a driver are ready to use them. You will be forced to be a better driver w/o them. Might be a bit of a drive for you and short notice, but I'm heading up to Uwharrie next weekend. Your more than welcome to join. It would be a great "training wheels" for Tellico. PM me if you might be interested!

This ride at Tellico is from stockers to hard core and will have something for everyone.
I reiterate please visit www.se4rj.com and go to the event forum as there are TONS of links there with information about everything at Tellico and Crawfords Camp.
Thanks!

Talked with Danny today and he said that not many people have reserved spots. If you are going and staying at Crawfords then reserve your spot now. If you don't then we run the risk of people not associated with our group being intermingled with our group. Nothing wrong with that I guess, but it is much nicer when all the people in our group are together.
There is no up front fee to reserve a site-you pay when you show up at camp.
