At this point in time, the chance that I will make it for the 3rd year in a row is looking very good

OK-

The run is a week away-

We've done the loop from the west to east the last two years-

Do ya wanna see it from east to west? That puts the crawlin' section at the end of the day, and the hill climbs become decents-

Thimk about it and we'll decide Sunday morning. Either way we can leave from Mayer.

later

Same direction, it's easier for us to go home.

I'm questionable at this time, I broke my junk doing something stupid in Moab, it will be tight to get everything back up and wheelable.

Consolation is that I had an awesome time busting my 4Runner .

I scheduled this in Oct instead of Nov to avoid the cooler wet weather we've experianced the last two years- so much for that!

It's not gonna rain, (crossing fingers, knocking on wooden head) but it is gonna cool down a bunch.

Sunday. Partly cloudy. Much cooler. Highs 59 to 66.

You Phx dudes and dudettes might want to bring light jacket- I'm reconsidering doin' the doorless thang too...

nother opportunity-

Don't know if you all might be interested, but we will be going right past the largest Juniper tree in the state. It's a short walk off the Goodwin Road on the way to the trail head.

OK, see you there! Who else is confirming for the trip? Anybody? Hopefully the weather will be nicer than that - less wind and a little more sun would be good.
