Thank you Ric and John for sticking up for me here.
Here is my intention. I want this to be a Yotatech get together.
The guys are allowed. We will probably stay overnight depending on where we go. I do not want shelf roads as I am not comfortable with that. Trails, due to weather will be up in the air for awhile.
I believe most groups have there own get togethers and since I proposed this get together I would like Yotatech folks. Preferably four runners, but Toyotas are fine. Let's please not get this out of hand. I just want to have a nice get together and let the ladies have a chance to work their skills on the trails.

What?

The only person who had a bad attitude was me, and i'm not coming....Every other person had a good attitude, and was excited to go. I will delete my posts, and ric can delete the posts he quoted me in, and then there is no bad attitude in the thread whatsoever. I invite you to reinstate the trip, i'll stay out of it, and then you all can have a good time.

I am considering keeping this trip, however there will not be anymore details for awhile. I need the weather to start cooperating so I can pinpoint more what to do. Thank you for the interest.

I wouldn't mind helping out, too! I think this is a great idea and would really encourage women to get out and try 4-wheeling. I agree with you that it should stay a YotaTech event. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help plan.

Welcome aboard and it's nice to hear from another lady out there. There aren't to many of us who have driven much and i think it's a great thing to learn and feel comfortable with. You never know when you will HAVE to drive. I would be happy to have your help. You can PM me anytime and I can give you my contact info.

Yotahedgie - not to stir the pot - but why were we limiting this to Yotatech only? I'd say ANY lady that wants to drive a 4x4 should come on this trip. It's not like we are going to have more than 7 or 8 peeps anyway... and if we do - AWESOME! (But it's your call

Just my 2 cents.

Also I am going to host a womens "spotting" clinic this summer. Not sure when but it will be in colorado. I think a lot of guys would love the help their gals can offer in spotting. And any of us lady wheelers know... that if you understand how to spot - it makes more sense to you when you are being spotted! More details on that to follow...

Man, I wish you girls were here in St. Pete. There aren't enough 4wheeling women here or 4Runners. Just a bunch of testosterone in Jeeps. No offense to the Yotatech guys because, I have to agree, this is the friendliest board out there. Even some of the so-called family-oriented, open to any 4wd type clubs still have their hardcore attitudes. Ya'll wanna come to Disney World?

Yes the ladies on this board can't be beat! They are even more fun to wheel with. (or so I hear, I have yet to wheel with any of them) That'll change this summer.

Sorry 'bout the hijack. Back on topic.

Yeah, Ric is short for Ricwena. Didn't you know that? And he, I mean, she's not ugly. Just cosmetically challenged.

My wife would like this trip. I'll hollor at her tonight about it. I know she is gone the first 2 weeks of July though... She will be driving "Moose" as I got it with an automatic just for this reason.
