Is this just for the meaty and lifted trucks, I am stock and wouldn't want to be left behind due to some gnarly trail I couldn't make.

Poor Cory. Jared's now living in Canada so it's just Cory. Jeff and Cory walking all the way to the next camp 2 years ago was classic Somebody else is going to have to step up and be Cory's campfire buddy.

Check out the list of trails on the first post. Half of them are stocker friendly There will be at least one stocker/mild group run each day ( not sure about Friday though). If enough mild rigs show up Thursday night/Friday morning, they can pick a trail to run while we run Holy Cross.

That was classic! So Jared's not going to make it? That sucks. I'm always good for a few beers around the fire!

You need to take that 2 month bump back! I've got a whole rig to build!

Quite a few of us get to camp Thursday afternoon / night / late night. Scotty usually gets there Tue-Wed and hangs out until people start showing up on Thursday. Most everyone that shows up Thursday runs Holy Cross on Friday. We try to caravan to HC on Friday morning.

If you don't want to run Holy Cross on Friday, there might be enough people showing up to run something else on Friday. I'm hoping more people post up on this thread with their plans.

You'll be fine with whatever you bring Even if it's not totally done to DIRTCO standards

Well, I'm sure you'll all have a great time, but we're out this year... Jobs are a bitter-sweet thing. Sometimes more bitter than sweet.

Take lots of pics for those of us going vicariously through you all this year!

Antero was a pretty cool trail. Some of us not so built rigs went up there last year

Going to try!

Hey guys. The wife and I would love to come out this year. Just slapped in the new gears and tires, so I'm ready to test them out.

Damn, you've had some bad luck with the motor in your truck. Hopefully you get it figured out before the Jambo.

I'm stoked as well! This is one of my favorite wheeling weekends of the year. Mt Antero has some fantastic views from the top. It's stocker friendly so you'll be in 2wd for it. I've never ran it so I can't comment on if it's worth it. I'd like to run it someday along with Grizzly Lake and some of the other high mtn. passes in that area.

Good to hear! Plenty of trails in the area to test them out. What kind of rig do you have and how's it setup?

That sucks, I was hoping to have you cut me some 1.75 tubing caps and I'd buy them from you. We'll post up some pictures for you though

I have an 86' 4Runner. I just installed a set of 4:88’s from a 93' last week. Took some time, especially with the front end, but well worth it. Got a set of 33x10.50’s KM2’s on a set of 15x8 steelies just about 3 weeks ago. I am running 1.5” spacers up front with just a little tweak to the torsion bars, and 2” OME springs in back. Good set up for what I am looking for, expedition/camping rig. Other than that, pretty much stock. No armor yet, and no lockers. I wanted to put one in with the diff but I was a little stretched for money as it was.

Can’t wait to meet many of the people on here. I’ve been around for a while soaking up all the info I can. It is a great sight with lots of great people.

Only 13 people are "yes". Wasn't there like 30-40 people for the last couple of years?

Last year, the "Yes" RSVP was 16 & "Maybes" were 22.
In 2009 (our biggest #'s year), the "Yes" was 25 & "Maybes" were 9. The weather played a big part last year. We still had 30 people show up last year.

On that note, there's quite a few people that have contacted me saying they plan on being there that aren't on Yotatech. Quite a few Marlin Crawler members, several Pirate members, several CO4x4 members and a couple people that don't post on message boards. I'm expecting 40-50 rigs this year

I know that several people have replied saying they are going to bring their families. That is GREAT! I will put out this warning before the event. The main area of camp, near the tends to stay up late each night and there might be some "R" rated talk around the fire. The 4 Mile area that we camp in is huge and there are quite a few campsites within close proximity of our main camping area. We totally understand if you choose to camp down the road from the main camp. I'm just putting out the warning now so people can plan according.
