2009 Pismo Jamboree
It's time to start planning for the 7th Annual Pismo Jamboree! We started planning already, now you guys need to start planning to show up!
Where: Oceano Dunes SVRA, CA
When: September 25-27, 2009
Who: You and your friends!
We've got big plans for this year's event, starting off with a new website!
Check it out!
www.pismojamboree.com
The website will be your all inclusive resource for the event, and will have the most up to date information. We will of course be adding to it as more of our planning is finalized, and we will let you know here when new changes have been made to the site.
As of right now you will have to post up here to be added to the "attendee list", but soon we hope to have it so that you can add yourself directly on the website.
One of the things we are really excited about is this year's GPS Challenge. We have big plans for it and I've already done one prerun in our planning for it. This will be one area of the website you will want to pay attention to for changes, as we add more details, rules, hints, etc...
So, check out the website and give us your feedback!

I hope to see all the same faces and many new faces,
Chris

Haha, nice Scuba! That "stuck" pic always cracks me up, I'm bummed I missed the actual event and extraction.
ozzie and redrunner, I hope to see you guys out there. Also, although it is a toyota event, feel free to drive whatever out there. All makes and models are welcome.
For those planning on going or seriously hoping to make it, pm me or post here, the following:
Name (first name is fine) Username Location and Vehicle
That way I can get you added to the attendees list on the website.

If you get bored you and feel the need to add my last name up there -> Frisbie. And I think my "vehicle" Should go the way of franks with a "Tba". And yes, Every time I tell the story of that stuck I crack up like hell. I really wish someone else saw my passenger bolt as soon as my vehicle slid to a stop.

These trips look hella fun. I've been to Pismo a few times but unfortunately my yota is broken and so am I. Blew the hg on the yota and tore the acl and meniscus in the knee. Hopefully if I get healed up and back to work fast enough I can get the drs paid and the yota fixed and come.

You do have to pay to camp at Oceano Dunes which is $20 a night, or if you are just there for the day, the entrance fee is $5 and is good till 11pm. You can pay for camping at the kiosk as well, but I do suggest getting your reservations ahead of time. They can be made through www.reserveamerica.com and then just put Oceano Dunes in for the "Park Name" Also, don't worry about what campsite # you get. There are no "campsites", the number is just to know how many campers they have out there.
