Whats a 89 22re motor worth

First off it needs a rebuild. I did a head gasket and got false torque reading on the head bolts. Lost compression had it towed home and did a long block swap. When I did my mother swap the parts truck was the 89. So before I sold the 89 I pulled all the motor components I could. Efi starter wiring harness from engine compartment and ecu. Grabbed the coil radiator expansion tank, afm, air box and intake tube, alternator, stock exhaust manifold, and other miscellaneous parts. The block and head had 190 k when I did the swap.

What do you think it's worth

I would say that if the block and head are not cracked, and the crank and bores are still standard, it would be worth somewhere between $150-$350 depending on where you live.
I'd like to have a good core to build.
I see them on Craigs list with asking prices all over the place, but you can never be sure what you're really getting.
Once in awhile I see some rebuilder in Phoenix offering long block rebuilds for $595 exchange, but they must be loaded with Chinese slave labor parts.

Is that estimate for 150-350 including the ecu wiring harness and everything else that goes with it?

Should I part out the motor. Or try and sell the whole setup as a unit. Not suresh at would be best.

I guess that your prospective buyers will want what they want.

If it were me, I would'nt break it down any more than to short block assembly and head.
