Good price? Need input
It has been many moons since I've been on this site. I am currently in a Tacoma, and previously, about 4 years ago had a 4runner and frequented often.
I've come back for advice and I'm about to purchase a 4runner.
The "deal" I've come across is as follows.
2006 v8 sport edition 4wd
130,000 miles
Great condition with what appears to be a pretty well documented maintenance schedule.
The dealership cannot confirm if the water pump and timing belt have been done. They said they will complete the water pump and timing belt maintenance if I agree to purchase.
I have negotiated a price of $13,000 out the door.
Would you all agree or disagree that this is a good price, taking into consideration that the timing belt and water pump is a $1,000 job.?

Have you looked for a private party selling one?
That seems way high priced, like something in California.
Any kind of warranty come with it?
Man, with $13,000 I'd build one the way I would want it.
Just seems like a lot of money.
IMHO I would keep looking, good luck.

I live in KY, the 4runner is in Cincinatti. And within a 200 mile radius of me these are priced at KBB.
I have searched private party and have been in contact with a few. This is the best price I can find from either private party or dealership.

seems like you've already done your homework and know what price they are selling for in your area, as well as the general condition of many of them. if you think it's a good deal then go for it. it's not a bad deal considering they'll do that major service for you.
