Feeling Out- 1991 4x4 Pick-up, 3.4 ready
I am looking for a little bit of advice...
First off, i purchased this truck 2 months ago and originally planned on swapping in a 3.4 and do some exploring. We have a baby on the way and now i need to sell my toy so i can get my wife a reliable and safe DD.
It is stock and the body and interior are in great condition. Small tear on the driver seat (from sliding in i assume), but other than that its nice. Headliner is intact, and cloth is in good condition (myself and the p.o. non smokers). A few small dings but nothing major.
The bad: i noticed that when i check the engine oil, it looked a bit milky but the truck does has not overheated at all since ive had it. I took it to yotamasters originally was going to do some engine work to alleviate the issues, but it was recommended that i keep the engine and get as much life as i can with it. Also, i think it might need CV boots
The good: I purchased a 3.4 engine and complete conversion kit (ORS...its actually arriving tomorrow) with crossover (basically all that is needed for my truck), t100 ECU. i have 4 tires and wheels (black) that i bought from Redeth that still have a good amount of life them. I havent put them on, but i assume that there is atleast a good year on them.
I am hoping for 5000, but am not sure which way to approach it:
1. Sell truck and all accessories as a package
2. Sell truck by itself and then sell the 3.4l and send back the ORS kit
Any advice will be appreciated.
