87 Custom Cab 4x4 - Fix or Sell?
I have an 87 extended custom cab 4x4 that I bought 2 years ago, but it's become more than I can handle so I decided to try selling it. This is a unique truck that really belongs with a Toyota person and I've only gotten one serious bite from my ad.
Main problem now is the head gasket blew, at which point I began the debate of fix it/replace engine/sell it as-is. It's still running, but coolant starts spilling out of the expansion tank after about 15 mins. It has a number of other issues, mostly minor & cosmetic annoyances.
I'd appreciate some opinions here - keep fixing it or pass it on? I'm asking $2200 as-is, am I out of line? If you search the Albuquerque craigslist you'll find my ad (which contains a lot more info about this truck).
Thanks.

I personally would die for that truck! I love it! I would still have my beloved Toyota 4x4, and my wife can't complain about not having any room for the baby! Everyone has their own opinions, I would keep it. I think that thing would look sick with my flatbed on it. Wood rails and light bar!

I know. I had visions of putting a camper shell on the bed and getting the whole thing painted. A badass BOV.
Funny how when I used to drive it around town I'd get offers to buy from random strangers. Now that's it actually is for sale - nothing!
