Hmmm is this rollcall just for the Ozarks?
Name: Molly Houck
Location: Longmont/Boulder CO
Rig: 93 4Runner SAS, locked fr and rr on 35's with a ˟˟˟˟˟ ton of body damage... (Her name is the Tippy Bi@tch)
Type of Wheeling: Moab slickrock baby! I'm not a huge fan of mud though.
Camping/Motel: Camping - though having a bed and SHOWER in Moab can be key... (Moab sand sucks after a few days).
Favorite Trail: Moab Rim

I think so, by the title. And it's a rollcall in the Ozarks 4ROC forum.
But if you always check to see what we're up to, you might as well post up!
But please indicate if you think you would ever make it out to wheel in the 'zarks!
Name: John Harris
Location: Tulsa, OK
Rig: 95 4runner, 3.0/auto, open/open, 1.5-3" suspension lift, back on 31's for now
Wheeling: Mostly trails, although I love finding county roads that've had no maintenance for 30 years, trying to get through where there is no longer a bridge. Thus the mud in my avatar.
Camping/Motel: in a tent always makes it better.
Wheeling in the Zarks? Of course.

Hey ya'll....it's cold! Who's been messin' with the thermostat?
I've always loved the outdoors, but I've never formally been "wheelin". Well, not for the sake of wheelin', anway. Okay...maybe once, lol! Testing out my neighbor's new BFG A/T's down near the old cemetary here in Winlsow. That was a while back, though. It got me to try something other than Khumo M/T's on my own vehicle. In any case, living in the country you become quite familiar with 4x4'ing. (We need a monster truck emoticon..[insert here])
So, a small fraction of my own existence/non-existence....
Name: Matthew Higdon
Location: Winslow, AR....20mi. south of Fayetteville...pop. 'round 400
Ride(s): Two runners...an '86 DLX and '92 SR5...the '86 being mine. Guess who the other belongs to! (Hint: I'm not single!)
Wheeling: Mostly pavement, save country roads (the explored and unexplored), a dilapidated driveway (forget it with 2whl drive), and old logging roads in search of firewood.
Camping/motel: preferred. But, a motel does fine when broken down in Rogers, AR 'cause the OCR switch died...and I thought it was the fuel pump!
Wheeling spots: To be determined, save what's mentioned above...

Name: Jason Parrott
Location: Lebanon, MO 65536 (about twice a year-currently in the Marines)
Ride: 2003 X-Cab SR5 Tacoma 4x4 2.7l 5-speed
Wheeling: Misc tank trails and other offroad goodies around the Camp Lejeune area. Nothing serious as the ride's stock and also my dd as well.
Camping/Motel: I'm a Marine - of course camping. However, I'm not against a nice warm bed either.

Location: Searcy Ar.
Rig(s): '95 4Runner - Stock DD (had it a week)
Type of Wheeling: None in the Toyota as of yet; I'm sure it will happen eventually.
Camping/Motel: Camping of course, all 4 seasons. I prefer cooler weather for it though...tents + 105* temps with a 100% humidity makes for lousy sleep.
Wheelin spots: no organized trail rides. I have done a lot of 4-byin' though; I am a contract lineman so I have been down easements from Wisconsin to Florida to the Rockies. Add redneck southern boys & boredom together & you get some loose gatherings to go play throughout the years. I like all types of 4-byin'; mud, sand, hills, slick rock... washes are cool too, but large basketball size boulders are too rough on my gizzard & the trucks suspension.

Name: Chris Fink...Just call me Fink
Location: Fayetteville, AR (University of Arkansas)
Rig: 1999 4Runner, lifted, 285's, Lexus wheels - click the link in my sig
Type of Wheeling: No mud. Trails are the best for me with minor rocks but would rather wait til I get my sliders on a locker
Camping: Definitely camping, don't mind crashing in the Runner
Wheeling spots: Mark Twain, Byrd's, Disney...
It's tough to find the time for the trips and the guts to put my new paint job on the line but...I'll consider any trip as long as there's no mud.

I figured I'd let everyone know, especially the newer guys, to check out the threads in the forum... If you see a wheeling trip or other outing you'd like to join in on, dont be shy at all, post up and come on out! I've heard plenty of worries about stock trucks vs. built trucks, but 98% of the wheeling spots we go to have plenty to do for all types of trucks! Even if you dont want to wheel your own truck, but would still like to come out, please do! I've usually got at least 2 extra seats in my truck I'd be happy to share, and I know from experience that most of the other guys will say the same!
Again, welcome to our little local forum and lets go wheeling/camping (or floating/kayaking for you Brad) and have some fun!
