Hello folks, sounds like the sort of trip I'd like to get in on, something light & easy for a stocker but unfortunately I'm cash & time strapped. Maybe by this summer I can tag along & meet some of you.

I'd love to but, I just got the 4Runner off a car lot last month & it's my first Toyota. I'm still getting used to it's personality. I have a rattle/knock in the passenger side front when going over bumps or washboard surfaces that I believe is a ball joint & a cv going bad on the drivers side. I have to fix a few more things before I take it on any off-road adventures. I've already done the water pump & timing kit, checked all the vacuum lines & fixed all the leaks; LOL it had a big one where the power steering lines were off...I've got the timing & idle stabilized & set, idler arm rebuilt...stuff like that done. I still need to replace the shocks, tie rods, balljoints, rotors & check the steering spindle bushings etc.

Maybe by this summer I'll have it all up to par & will be able to get in on some of the good times. My sister lives just outside of Eureka Springs so I'm up that way a few times a year anyway.

Ack. I've not been to Disney... but it's probably a bit easier to navigate than a forest.

I'm still planning on going. I'll give you a call tonight.

Thanks! Is there a map we can get up there? Is it difficult to get around? Im not TOO worried, but a map would be nice. Is there any chance you're gonna make it?

It doesnt look like I can make it... Trust me, I would MUCH rather go wheelin. There is a little map that someone made, but I dont know how good it is. When we talk tonight, I'll talk to you about the general navagation of the area, and we can go from there.... I really wish I could go.
