Bent Control arm

 

Replaced bent OEM LCA's with All Pro links

 

 

After looking at some of the rear door racks out there, I decided to make my own. So I used shelve channel from hardware store. Cost me about $12. Drilled thought the plastic and bolted the channel to it. Then use a back pack and other bags and Velcro zip ties. Here are some pics.

 

Added CB (Cobra 19 DX IV & 4' firestik)

 

Also added two matching yellow bags to the rear inside rack.

 

Well I haven't added much to my FJ in some time. I've been concentrating on my 87 4runner. But know its time to turn my attention to the FJ. I've been wanting a new front bumper forever. So here it is,


The center section is a brush gaurd off a late 90's Suburban, that I got off of Craigslist.

The wings are 1/8" plate steel.



The bars are .120 DOM tubing.
The mounting are via 1/4" angle iron 4" wide.



I have yet to install the Superwinch I have. That will come soon.

I added a Super Winch EPi 9.0 w/ synthetic line. To the new bumper.


And added some more steel to the under side of the bumper.


Also installed a dual battery set up.
