I loved it, but hated the $100 fill-ups!

First of all, thanks again for the comments. The Revtek I threw on there just to get it up in the air fast. If any of you remember my 4Runner, I'll probably end up modding the FJ in a similar fashion - I'm really liking what I've seen from All Pro with their coilovers and links. Waiting patiently to see what the rear springs are like before investing exclusively though, then will be adding some TC UCAs and quite possibly another manual hub conversion. Will have to talk to the gang at ORS about that and see if the parts are transferable. I doubt it. Although I'm really digging a couple of the bumper designs being bandied about, I may just stick with the ARB as it's proven itself over and over on many different applications. I'm rethinking the electric winch, but may go with a hand winch as part of a complete recovery kit - I don't get into the kind of trouble (most times) that would require having a dedicated electric strapped to the front, and like the flexibility of the hand winches anyway. Add a rear bumber with a couple recovery points and some lights and I'm ready to go!
Let's see, for the cpl of folks who asked, I guess I have about $3k in the Revtek kit, tires, wheels, and installation/alignment. Sounds about right.
deathrunner, to answer your reply specifically, you'd be surprised how well the Rancho suspension did in the desert. Of course, it wasn't built as a racer, but I'm proud to report I beat the snot out of it with no carnage to any of the components. As for the step tubes, it wasn't a rock crawler either, so no need for the sliders. Thanks to the kick-ass Rancho in-cab 9-way adjustable shocks/springs I was never close to bottoming this kit to the tubes.
