Roof mounted lights on FJ, pics

Basically, I sacraficed the frontmost upper roof rack bar.
It was on the upper rails, I relocated it to the lower rails, as far forward as possible
and mounted the lights to it.
I ran all the wire inside the 'mounting bar', and ran the main power wire through the roofrack rail to the front. I had to get above the head liner inside the FJ and drill a hole for the power wire to run down into the cab. (from the inside of the rail... it sucks to tear into a brand spankin new vehicle like this!)
If anyone is interested, ill post more pictures of where the wires are run, ect.
To sum it up, it looks awesome, and the lighting power is great. However,
it was a major pain in the butt. (fishing a coat hanger through the roof rack to guide the wires ect....)
As far as HOW I mounted the lights to the bar, I drilled 4 perfect equally spaced holes and mounted them up.

Dude, you rock... you've had that thing for what, two weeks, and you're already drilling holes in the thing?
Of course, I had my truck for an hour before it got it's first Arizona pinstripes...

Sweet! Curious why you didn't just move the top bar all the way forward and use one of the wind deflector mounting holes for a power wire exit? Garage clearance? Nicely done, please post some night shots of the beam pattern too.

Just BARELY clears my open garage by maybe an inch, at most.
Shantz, I LOVE the FJ. Its the perfect vehicle for me. Extremely capable,
yet comfortable, very strong/quick, love the 6 speed manual, totally solid,
its just the perfect vehicle for me.

I actually thought about that OEM deal, but decided to mount my own.
I wanted 4 instead of 2, and I actually like the location of them.
It looks good, like they are almoast trying to be consealed or something like that.
I have not aimed them yet, but I can tell that the location of them will not be a problem with aiming the two outsides farther out, and the two insides a little closer if I chose to. (my point is, the roof does not get in the way)
Ill get more pictures today.
Oh, one more thing... I was surprized that on the freeway at 80+ the lights do not add any wind noise. Must be due to the rounded shape of the lenses.
