Reason?

Not because it is painted, I heard from All Pro that all future bumpers can now come powdercoated from them.

The reason is the factory hitch will not work with the All Pro bumper, you must spend another $100 and use their hitch that attaches to their bumper.

I paid good $$$ for my factory hitch and want to continue to use it.
The factory hitch works with the Warn bumper.

Warns bumper should make it out before the end of the month.
Alrighty man! Sounds like a better setup for you also. They must have found a coater to do their bumpers.

Those of you who are considering mounting a heavy tire/wheel to your rear door should be concerned about the weight. I went and looked at the yellow Revtek FJ (it can be viewed on Revtek's website) that's sitting on the local dealership lot, I didn't get to test drive it since the battery was dead and I was in a time crunch.

I am not sure what the tire/wheel size is but the rear door had a nice dent in it above the latch, significant enough that the paint was gone. It was obvious that the door was sagging and the latch no longer lined up.

I think that happens when you go over a 33" tire.
I am running the stock size, but will step up to a 33" later.

Blasphemy!

Sometimes I just find things to cut with it. When I was getting rid of a desk last year I cut it into pieces even though I could've just unscrewed it. If not for the wife at home, I'd cut bread with it.

Get the All Pro, paint it with Hammertone or Hammered finish black paint. (rattlecan, purchased at HD or Lowes)

Looks and feels almoast like powdercoat, but can be easily touched up.

Reason I do not want the All Pro is I paid $400 for the factory hitch or so.
Can not reuse it with the All Pro, you have to buy their hitch extra.

Here is how to track when the Warn rear bumper is released.
You can even get the install infor from there.

http://warn.iwebcat.com/_Members/lookups/lookup.asp

Plug in your vehicle, then it will show up in the list.
So far still only the front Warn bumper shows up for the FJ Cruiser.

I will be keeping an eye out on the release, then read up on the difficulty to install it.
