Dude, congratulations.
I am sure you have a big grin from ear to ear driving it.

My face is locked into that position 24/7.

How are you liking the 4.0?

After I posted I saw that Rocko posted.
And for the record, admins can edit their posts without the "edited by" text being added.
But so can members I beleive for upto one minute or so.

One of the perks
Also comes in handy for going back and fixing my speeeeeling mistakes which I often do when my fingers are tapping the keys at lightening speed.

Now lets turn this post back to On Topic.

OK. Back on topic...

Glad to be back guys. I miss my 95 4Runner, but not for much longer. This FJ freaking rocks!!! I can't wait to really use the thing!

So, Corey, when did you get yours? Any complaints yet?

I got mine July the 24th, one of the hottest days in our summer.
Everything I have done to the rig is documented here in this section.
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f204/coreys-2007-fj-cruiser-build-up-thread-90962/
And here on my site.
http://www.pnw4runners.com/fjc/mods/modindex.htm

No compliants other than no locking gas door, but you will see the remedy for that on on my website in the second URL above.

I do not miss my 4Runner either.
As soon as I dorve this off the parking lot.
In fact that was the first time I even drove an FJ was when I picked it up.

I had been in two prior to that though.
Jim (mytruck on the forum) and I went to the dealer to look at them, and he drove it.

And I rode with WillsFJC when we went to a FJ Cruiser Trail Team event sponsered by member WATRD.

Congrats, Ted! Looks like you got it well dressed. Consider the factory hitch to in effect add another frame cross-member, and some kind of sliders too (see the FJ frame braces thread).

Looking forward to the pics...

They wanted to throw on the hitch for a cool $400, but this one was upscaled enough already. I'll get the rock sliders and hitch added as soon as I get a couple OT checks from the new job. That should be rather soon, too!!!

...should be driving the thing now instead of sitting here at work, though. ;-)

Thanks Adam! And to think that pic was taken on a pre-run of the upcoming Baja 1000 where two stock class FJ's are running. The drivetrain is factory, suspension modified within rules and of course a full cage.

Ted, FYI the hitch and harness dealer cost is $240, retail $349, installed.

Glad I didn't pay for the hitch then!!! As for sliders, I guess there are quite a bit of bolt-ons available. I do like yours, Corey. Have you actually "used" them yet?

Only been off road once so far with the rig.

Waiting on getting a few more goodies added to the rig, then I am going to be making a snow run in December.
