Fuel Consumption

I want to get an FJ Cruiser at some point down the road, but Im curious as to how the fuel consumption is?
Im interested in both auto and manual figures.
I'd probably get the manual but if you guys could enlighten me that would be great. City and Highway would be awesome! Thanks

I just posted my fuel mileage log I have kept since July.
This is with an auto tranny.

You can see how the MPG varies with each major mod I have done.

The first 5 tanks with my 5AT have averaged 21.85 mpg. This was all mixed driving. 45% highway,50%rural,5% city.

I live at 7,200 ft so that probably has a lot to do with the above average mpg.

I'm happy.

In Town:
my low fuel light pops on at around 255 miles and 20 miles later when i fill up it usually takes around 17.5 gal or so.

On the Hwy:
I have gotten 20 mpg
