Only 9.6 inches of ground clearance for the 4wd version, what is the world coming to?
No more are the days of seeing Trucks/Suv's with 12 inches of clearance, stock. It sure will kick butt with that V-6 and it's lighter weight though.

Yep. Even the ol' solid axle everyone is so gaga about had 7.7" from the ground to the diff.
1987 4Runner brouchure
Ground Clearance
Angle of approach 37
Angle of departure 22.5
Differential system to ground 7.7
Running ground clearance 10.6
Now what the hell do you suppose 'running ground clearance' is? The highest single place under the vehicle where you could run over an obstactle? I doubt it with IFS, the IFS skid would be about on par with the bottom of the rear diff, and nothing in the front would be any higher up than that.

Hopefully you were just making a joke. (The tongue in cheek icon was invisible...)
No full size truck ever had 12 inches of clearance. They are all around 7.5 ish, always were. Today the Dodge Ram 3/4 ton with the optional biggest tires is 9.5". What a crime...
