Unhappy BREAKING NEWS! Reliable sources state 2014 will be the last FJC Model year

It's true, according to our source, that the FJC will not be produced after the 2014 MY. Our source confirms that internal Toyota systems show 2014 as the last year to order FJs from the factory.

While Toyota hasn't confirmed anything beyond 'there will be a 2014 FJ Cruiser', we think this news is 'very likely'.

Here is more news Shane from getting some links from Mud and the blue room.

I did not want to believe it, but looks like it is true.
Have read a few links at the blue room and Mud, and just ran across one from USA Today.

Info on the Ultimate Trail Team Edition is there too, and in a link below from Toyota Press.

Farewell to an Icon
Chiseled from nearly a half-century tradition of tough off-road performance provided by the legendary FJ40, the original 4Runner, and 4x4 compact pickups, the FJ Cruiser was developed as a basic, capable and affordable off-roader aimed specifically at serious off-roaders looking to push the limits. Hailed by consumers and critics alike, the FJ Cruiser became an instant classic.

The final model year 2014 FJ Cruiser is on sale now. The Trail Teams Ultimate Edition is scheduled to roll into dealerships in February 2014, kicking off a fond farewell to a Toyota original.

With sales of more than 200,000 units sold since 2006, the FJ rides into the sunset leaving lasting memories of one of the most iconic vehicles in Toyota’s rich SUV history.
If I have to replace mine in the future for some reason, looks like I will have to go used.
