You gotta get one, much better than one horn.
Mods... mods... hummm...

I am totally torn on this issue at the moment.

For one thing this SE is a limited edition of 3200 units and Toyota says it will not be offered again (supposedly anyway).

That said, it seems to retain value, the FJ should be as stock as possible. I would love to be able to trade it in in a couple years on a RED FJ with all the improvements the 3rd model year would offer.

However, if I were to mod, i would get a ARB bumper with winch and a bumper for the rear....

The first mod will prolly be to get rid of the pinstripe if I can figure out how to remove it....

Awesome, I have one coming in around Thanksgiving

Did it come with the pinstrip or was it a dealer install?
Was there anything on it that you did not expect? The press on it has been mostly fluff and the dealer knew very little. Is it numbered?
I can't wait to get in mine and I agree with you, I am going to try to keep mine close to stock. The good news, it is really set up very well, right out of the box.
Good luck with it .................gm

Simply awesome, Nate, congrats!

The wheels are beautiful with the metallic graphite finish. It's the first I've seen any clean! The roof is a perfect match, even better than hoped for.

I'll be keeping mine stock. I'm interested in how the TRD engineers tried dozens of shock combinations until they came up with those that worked best with the BFG A/T's. Should be a great rig for a long time, enjoy!

It was applied at the port but was not included in the line item charges for some reason.

Yes there is very little info.. i wasn't even sure that it had the 400w inverter until I took it for a test drive....

I will answer any and all questions you all have to the best of my ability.'

Yes, Toyota provides a lotta extra spaces so you can add switches for your off road lighting and other stuff.

Nate, nice Leatherman.
Did you get the FJ Crusier briefcase too?

I got two of them, just gave one to my youngest son the other day, as he is getting a new laptop this week.
The breifcase also doubles as a laptop bag.

I have an extra button on my dash that says "Off" and has a silouete of the vehicle with what looks like sound or something drawn coming from the roof into the vehicle. It's not listed in my book and it doesn't seem to do anything. I figured it may turn off the dome light, but it doesn't. Anyone know?

Nate, I am so jealous. I think that I have returned to this thread 10 times just to look at your FJ and see the new pictures you have added. For those of you that own FJs or have driven an FJ, how do they handle compared to a 4runner?

Can not compare it to a 3rd or 4th gen, never drove one.
But my FJ blows my 2nd gen out of the water in the way it handles, even with the stock springs and shocks.

I understand going with the new Old Man Emu shocks and coils makes it handle way better in the curves, and the ride quality is better too.
