Don't have nothing torn done but call parts store for idler and tensioner for 1993 T100 3.0 V6 and they asked if the tensioner is hydrolic or spring, did know there was 2 different ones, any way to tell before tear done? Also dealer who going to do the job said they don't change them unless they can detect something wrong with them went onto say they very seldom see them go bad.

 

not sure which you have, but i just had one go bad on me. how much are they gonna charge you?

 

There doing the new water pump and timing belt for 500.

 

Bit the bullet and having the dealer do the tensioner and idler that way it will all be warranted ,thanks for the help
