Stock T100 rear bumper pics NEEDED
Hey I made a deal with this guy for a 96 T100 with the works, only thing is that his rear bumper broke off. Looks like it broke the back part of the frame, like where the bolts attach to the frame. Anyways does anyone have pics of how the stock rear bumper is attached to the truck? Need to know if i can get a replacement or will need to custom weld my own.

If you have any id would appreciate it. One im getting has no rear bumper, the guys fat friend jumped on it to try and get the truck unstuck and it snapped off, looks like it took part of the frame rail but I cant tell to much. Never owned a T100. just wanna know if i could still bolt on a bumper or will need to fabricate something.

That doesn't sound right. Is there heavy rust on the frame rails? Those bumpers are designed to have a 300 or 350 pound tongue weight for towing up to 3000 pounds. I seriously doubt one heavy dude could snap off a bumper and take part of the frame rail with it unless it was already damaged or rusted through in places. You may want to double check the truck for some rust issues or other damage.

I was thinking that sounded fishy too SC...my bumper has 5200 lbs or 500 lbs of tongue weight stamped into the plastic. Unless he's pushing 600-700 lbs (at which point I HIGHLY doubt he could jump) that thing should have held. I mean, I've used my high lift to lift the entire back of the truck without the brackets bending or breaking...
