Dose anyone know what the differences between the 1/2 ton and the 1 ton brakes? I'm getting ready to redo the rear brakes on my truck and I was thinking I might aswell upgrade the rear to the 1 ton brakes and add some air ride helper springs since my understanding is that the difference between the weight ratings was rear brakes and suspension mening that I could build myself a 4x4 1 ton. I am also addi g a trailer controller and a external transmission cooler to supplement the factory cooler.
