No power steering stalling out in neutral

I have a 98 t100 4x4 5speed manual.
a day ago it was stalling out in idle and reverse.
today my power steering went out while i was driving. are these 2 seperate problems or is my power steering pump out causing the low rpms? I have no clue where to start

Welcome!
Could you go back and change your topic title? You may get more responses to your question. "Help" is a bit vague.

I cant remember if we have serpentine belts or individual belts. But if you can take teh power steering pump offline that would answer your question.

The stalling could be due to the pump. There is a switch on the pump that bumps up the idle so the motor doesn't stall when the power steering is used if the pump was failing, it might not have been putting enough pressure to trigger the switch.
