Bagger, that was another option-but on TJM"s site they claim that it wont accept a winch-under winch capacity it lists n/a.

I could have steve do the brushguard part but its sort of tough since he wouldnt have the truck to work with and I am nowhere near close enough to visit his shop.

I would probably be happy with the warn mount anyway-dont have tons of money to spend and offroad occasionaly due to time constraints.

cjm-i asked my dad and he said all he knows it was one warn makes.. me got it 10 years ago.. but its the transversal one

 

Yea, seems like they dont make it anymore-pitty I like it.

I will have to settle for a warn transformer, I cannot justify spending even more on a complete custom bumper right now.

 

the transformer will look the same as mine.. i may consider selling it.. just depends on how it looks when i lift my truck and lift the bumper to make it look stock

They list it as non-winchable but it does have a winch cradle and they sell additional brackets for mounting strength. Honger fabbed up his own brackets to make his work.

I understand if you want to go a different direction, but I thought I'd follow up on the TJM, if anyone else is interested.

CJM, I noticed you were moving from the Hankooks to the Geolanders, funny I was going to go the other way. Any problems with the Kook's?

 

Nope, just felt I would upsize my tires to 32x11.5x15 and tirerack doesnt sell hankooks. It is really a toss up, I hear great things about the geos but general at grabber II's (not the bad ones everyone talks about) are a good option too.

These things handle great and hold the road wheel. Been wheeling in sand, some light mud and alot of packed dirt and minor crawling and havent had problems. They dont hydroplane and stop and corner well when its wet too.

 

I also have a personal interest as I work for Hankook. Just wanted to get some feedback. I will probably use them any way for obvious reasons.

 

If you work for them, maybe you can find out if they make the tires bigger than 31x10.5x15. I cannot find them even listed on kooks site for anything bigger.

 

Sorry, the more aggressive tires like the RT01 and RT03 come in the larger sizes.
