Front Axle Removal?

Hi everyone,
The front left CV joint boot on my 95 T100 Xtra Cab 4wd is broken and i want to replace it asap. My question is how difficult is it to remove the front half axle so i can put a new boot on. I know its not real easy but just wanted some insight on how hard it really is. Thanks a lot.

They aren't to bad to do. but, just be ready to put in some new sway bar end links. when I did mine, I couldn't get the axle out without disconnecting the sway bar end links. they were rusty so needless to say, they broke.

actually...if u unbolt the sway bar from the frame, on both sides....u wont need to discon the end links. the sway bar will drop down, and u will have plenty of room to work with...they r not that bad...I replaced both of mine in about 3-4 hrs.

I did them on my 4-runner, and all I did was take the lower shock bolt out. I never touched the sway bar. I had a jack under the lower balljoint to change the angle the arms set at. That help get them out easier.
