Driveshaft question
New guy here, I recently purchased a 97 T100 extended cab, 4x4, manual 5 speed with a 4 inch lift (Pro-Comp). I need to replace the carrier bearing on the rear driveshaft, but I had a question about the orientation of the driveshaft. Mine has a double-cardan CV joint on the long side of the two piece driveshaft, but it is located at the rear axle differential. I am more accustomed to seeing those at the transfer case or at the carrier bearing end. Does it matter? Is mine installed correctly? Thanks!
