Back Up Lights?

My back up lights do not work. So my question is; where do the wires for the lights hook into the transmission? I think they might just be unplugged.
Thanks.

Do you have an auto trans? If you do, did you check the "Gauge" 10A fuse and the back-up light relay (it's a square one) located in the interior fuse box? Are you sure you checked both light bulbs and run current through them or did a continuity check? Did you check the harness? Did you check the backup switch?

Its a manual not auto. The bulbs are good. All the fuses are fine. Haven't checked the harness or backup switch cuz i don't know where they are. That's what i was hoping to find out, what components are they hooked to and where those components are.

It should be a 2 wire switch located on the side of the transmission.

The switch is a threaded type with a hex body.
