I saw another post saying the T100 Auto Trans is A340E, A340F, A340H. How do I tell which I have?

Mine is a 1998 T100 SR5, towing package, 4-spd w/ overdrive. I'm wondering if "H" is heavy duty, & that would probably apply for the towing package. (It's not the older RV pictured in my profile.)

I am not completely up to speed on which A340 transmission was used for each application, but as long as no one swapped your original transmission with another type you should be able to identify it by the VIN sticker.

Thank you, I'll check that ID plate, I'm quite sure it's the original tranny.
