Hi folks,It is time for my timing belt change and my mechanic is telling me that I need to change the water pump ,tension pulley and some other pullers and adjusters .My truck has 168,000 miles on it.My question is what really do I need to replace on this job ? I know I need to replace the belt and water pump ,but all them other parts ? any help is appreciate.

I would just buy the kit and do it all, the last thing you want is for one of the old parts in there to go bad after the job is done. I just had it done to my T100 at 253,000, boy what a difference, and it ran great before hand.
