Won't start after warmed up
OK... So my truck has always started after one bump of the key. Now, it starts fine in the morning or after its sat for a while - 4 or 5 hours - but after i start it and it warms up, it won't start. Its not like a dead battery, the starter doesn't click or anything. I can hear the relap clicking under the dash, but thats it.
I replaced my old starter a few weeks ago while i was working on the truck. It worked fine, but the plastic clip on the starter was broken and the wire fell off sometimes. I replaced it with a remanned one. I thought maybe the solenoid was bad, so I took it back and got another. Still doing the same thing. I thought maybe it was the battery. In the morning, I turned on the headlights, let it sit for 15-20 seconds with the lights on then cranked it. Started right up.
If I jump it after its warm, it'll start.
Anyone got anything? Bad relay that only works when it has tons of voltage?
Thanks
