i am swapping my 86 22re out for a 90 22re in my 86 sr5 4x4 Pickup. I was disconnecting the injector plug on injector #1 and the plug on the harness broke and is missing a large portion of the plastic, upon further inspection however, the plug looks different from the injector on the new motor. Is there any way to wire new injector plugs into the harness when installing the new motor. Thanks.

 

you will have put the injectors in from the 86 or rewire the harness ...the 90 has Type-F injectors and the 86 has Type-C injectors
