wireing a 94 truck dash for a tach.

Hi all, just got a 94 pickup and am fixing it up alittle. Ran across an instrument cluster with a tach in it. was just wondering what is needed to get this to work. And if there is any place to find the wireing diagrame to do this? I know it is not a plug and play, tryed it. Darn! Thanks for any help you can give. Erv

How about an update? Did you get it to work? Should have been plug and play, as long as the oil pressure sending unit was the correct one.

its plug and play. the thing you gotta watch out for is toyota put an electrical speedo in the trucks for i think a year or two. i know my 93 has it, and it was a b!tch to find the SR5 cluster without a cable-driven speedo.

and don't plug up the oil sending unit unless its the right one. it'll FUBAR your gauge.
