Where do the wires go?

There is a Black/yellow stripe wire, and a white wire coming out of the the engine fuse box..
Where are these wires supposed to be routed to?

I am going to guess the black/yellow goes to the alternator and the white goes to the battery.. but I want to be sure..

I also do not have working headlights

 

yea they are part of the alternator circuit..or charging circuit

 

so is that how they are supposed to be wired?
