Voltage at Tps?

Voltage at Tps?
I have been having a major issue. I rebuilt the heads on 924runner 3.0. The whole install went well. until it came time to start the thing. It fired right up first try but dies immediately after. I have chased this problem all over the place!! Ive chevked all the vacuum lines and im positive they are correct. I know I have fuel and spark because I can give it some throttle and keep it running but as soon as I let out it dies. I have replaced the TPS, VAF, and ignitor!! Which was not cheap!
Today a buddy unplugged the TPS and tried to start the truck. It started and he was able to keep it from dieing with some pedal. There was basically no change in performance at all. I then checked the signal wires from the TPS plu to the ECM and the checked out good. Then I checked the TPS for voltage and I had nothing.... Shouldnt I have some sort of reference voltage present at the TPS plug with the ignition in the on postion???
Please Help
