Very odd electrical issue
Hey, everyone!
New fella around here. I have a 1994 4runner with a recently swapped rebuilt 3vze. Like the title says I'm having a very odd electrical issue that has been happening even before the new motor was swapped in. I've always heard that these truck are pretty slow etc. etc. So I thought nothing of it for the past couple years until one day when I happened to press the brake pedal while still having the accelerator pushed. As soon as my brake light switch engages and my brake lights turn on my rpms suddenly jump up. I hate messing with electrical systems and try and stay as far away from them as possible but I figured I'd drop a line here and see if anyone had any ideas on what could be happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing back from some of ya!
Cheers!
