I am having some troubles w/my Ignition system. My truck died while being driven the other day. I have troubleshooted the problem to the Ignition system. The starter is turning over the engine but I am not getting spark to the plugs. I tested the coil and the Igniter and got no spark from the wire leaving the Igniter to the distributer so (the coil checked out)..I replaced the Igniter today and still nothin. The distributer is still not getting power from the Igniter. Any suggestions on where or what to look at next? Any help would be appreiciated!

 

What year and engine do ya have? Ecu may need to see a RPM signal to fire the ign off. Can you check for code possilble but unlikely a cam sensor.
Make sure the timing belt is still in tack.
