Steering Wheel Cruise Control Wiring

I have a '92 V6 limited (or should I say it WAS a V6). The old steering wheel had seen better days and I wanted a sports wheel anyways.

The only problem was that the original wheel had the cruise controls on it.

Now i have the sports wheel on (and it has been on for almost 2 years) and I want the cruise control back...

I kept the wires long and wound them up and taped them under the dash.

What I was thinkin was just getting a contact switch to mount to the dash just so i can turn it on. Up and down speed is not really an issue... but im headed for a 3000km round trip this long weekend and would be wrapped in plastic if I could have the bloody thing workin.

Oh, Im pretty simple when it comes to talkin techy... so a simple answer like...

Buy this type of switch
Connect ... colour wire to ...

...would be great. Awesome even...

Thanks in advance

One option would be to download a copy of the FSM (Factory Service Manual) for as close to the year vehicle you have and see what is shows for that wiring. Typically will show switch contacts, connector pin-outs and wire colors.
