Well, the dual electrodes just offset the extra spark from the waste spark system of the 3.4. So going to single electrodes basically cuts it in half, but considering irridiums are good for 100K miles, with one electrode, that would bring it down to 50K miles, which is only 20K over stock, so the savings on the irridiums might be lost. Maybe go with the dual electrode platinums, good for 60K and less money.
