good old burg.. aka roseburg lol yah well I havent woke up to a dead battery so Im thinking I solved it by wireing my lights the way the box said instead of not putting a relay on them and hooking them straight to the battery. I wonder How many amps I could get out of this I got a warn m8000 winch and when I try winchin Im not getting enough power to roll it in underload... cause 50 amps wont cut it.

Hard to tell exactly but im pretty sure its a Delco 10SI 80amp. Thats the one that seems the closest in look and output, and it has an internal regulator like the orriginal toyota one so it would be the most likely. You could switch to a much higher output SI type delco that would have the same mounting and clocking, or you could switch to another stock toyota alternator.

I found a delco 10si like yours on a shop engine today and it was hooked up the way yours is with a wire off the plug running to the hot lug, then a wire to the batt and a wire running to the ignition actually.

really wire to the ignition.. I was thinking about doing the 140 amp upgrade is it hard to do it, Any springs I have to worry about I seen a tear down it said you have to use a punch to get the old stuff out. So I might go the cheap route and just get the upgrade kit to 105 amp, but if I dont whats better the Self Exciting, or the internal? have no idea what the differance is.
