i want to stick my msd and accell coil into my yota, its an 85 carbureted truck. im familiar with how to hook it up for the most part, but what do i have to do with the wires coming off of the distributor that hook into the factory coil/igniter unit?? do i just leave them hangin or do i have to hook power and ground to them somehow??

 

Not sure on your carb'd truck, But I know on the FI trucks the distributor sends a signal through the igniter to the ecm, I just fried an igniter by running a MSD blaster coil
