How to hook 2L diesel up to stock 86’ 4Runner tachometer

I have an 86’ 4Runner that I’m throwing in a 2L diesel. I’m wondering how I can hook it up to the stock sr5 tachometer. Running an aftermarket tach is out of the question. Absolutely not. Any idea how?

They have diesel tachometer adapters.

Not sure if the SR5 tach works like a standard add-on tach though..........
